Dreamstarbubble is Tea Master Zatobo’s subliminal world, a story-place his spirit created to protect his mind from the demons.
You can learn more about Zatobo here. Why don’t you add him as a friend? He’s very lonely.
Zatobo created DreamStarBubble because he had four people inside him, all trying to get out. One is even a girl – her name is Phyrne. The others are called Edshu, Pr0lix and Oni. You can find them in the author’s column. Each of them tells different kind of stories, and dreams different kind of dreams.
Together they are the ‘entia’, or what a real clever-clogs might refer to as the ‘archetypes of the collective unconscious’: the whispers in your head, the people who have never met and yet still recognize.
They are very powerful, neither evil nor good. Before the Dreamstar, they were literally driving old Zatobo crazy. But then one day, he learnt that he could use their energy to tell his stories – that was the day the entia stopped becoming demons, and started becoming friends.
That was the day Zatobo became the Tea-Master.
What’s with the Name?
Stars, darkness, a lamp, a phantom
dew, a bubble, a dream, a flash of lighting,
and a cloud:
Thus should we look upon all that was made
‘DreamStarBubble’ refers to a quotation from the ‘Vajracchedikā Sūtra, or ‘Sacred Books of the East’.
